Factory Guide
Before Delivery: A Buyer’s Guide to Forklift Inspection
Understand the configuration, inspection records and handover information to discuss before your forklift leaves the factory.
Check the agreed configuration
Start with the equipment listed in the order: power type, load capacity, mast, lift height, tyres and attachments. Compare the machine identification and the agreed configuration before arranging delivery.
If the truck uses an attachment, discuss the applicable capacity information for that specific combination. A base-model capacity figure alone may not describe the equipment as supplied.
Discuss inspection evidence
Ask what inspection records, photographs or model-specific operating footage can be provided. Agree the items to review with the supplier and the people responsible for acceptance.
Condition and functional checks should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and be performed by qualified personnel. This purchasing guide does not replace operator training or the checks required at the working site.
Plan the handover
Request the operating and maintenance information for the supplied configuration, together with warranty terms and the support contact. For electric models, include the battery and charger information.
Keep these documents with the equipment record so your receiving team can identify the machine and prepare for commissioning. Contact Feiyang with the configuration and documentation you need.
